Pavlo Tabakov, a name now synonymous with musical excellence in Ukraine, embarked on his melodious voyage from the streets of Lviv. His early years were marked by an insatiable quest for musical success, leading him to study at the Lviv Music and Pedagogical College and the Lviv National Music Academy.

From Humble Beginnings to National Recognition

The turning point in Tabakov's career came in 2005 when he made an unexpected appearance on "Karaoke on Maidan." Supporting a friend, fate intervened when he was selected by the renowned Igor Kondratyuk to participate as a contestant. This pivotal moment not only showcased his raw talent but also set the stage for what was to follow.

A Star is Born: Victory and New Challenges

Tabakov's talent found a broader platform on "Shans, " where his rendition of "Le temps des cathedrales" from Notre Dame de Paris captivated audiences and earned him the top prize. Despite the opportunity to sign a lucrative contract, Pavlo chose the road less traveled, embarking on a solo career with his debut hit "Tyl'ki ty moya."

"I realized that my journey had to be authentic and personal, " Tabakov said, reflecting on his choice to decline the contract offer.

The Road to Eurovision and Beyond

Tabakov's ambition pushed him further. Though his attempts at the Eurovision National Selection didn't culminate in victory, they honed his resilience. His breakthrough came in the form of "The Voice of Ukraine, " where his performance turned all four judges' chairs, leading him to victory under the mentorship of Diana Arbenina.

Family, Fortitude, and Future Aspirations

Balancing a demanding career and family life, Tabakov's personal story is as compelling as his professional one. Married to a former TV channel writer, Pavlo and his wife Olga nurture their family while splitting their time between Ukraine and Poland. "It's challenging, but being with my family as much as possible is worth every effort, " Pavlo shared.

A Legacy of Music and Humanity

In recent years, Tabakov has embraced roles beyond performing—establishing a music school and contributing to humanitarian efforts during Ukraine's difficult times. His dedication to his craft and community exemplifies a life of passion and purpose.
