British band returns to festival after two year break
Placebo joined A $ AP Rocky and Twenty One Pilots and became another Atlas Weekend 2020 headliner. Two years ago the British already headed the festival, but then our editor couldn’t get to the performance of one of his favorite bands, so he is already flying for tickets.
The group led by Brian Molko gathered in the mid-nineties, released seven albums and forever remembered the songs Meds, Twenty Years, Every You Every Me, The Bitter End and not only. Placebo has earned the respect of David Bowie, the title of an important alternative band for the past 20 years and cult status among fans.
The Ukrainian public also loves them - the British played big solo concerts twice in Kiev and performed twice at festivals.
The other day it became known that the group signed to the label So Recordings for the release of the eighth album. The last time the full-length work of the team came out already 7 years ago (Loud Like Love), so it’s possible that Placebo will present new material at the festival.
