On Saturday, August 3, the documentary "Long Day" directed by Alan Badoev was presented at the 2024 Summer Olympic Games in Paris. The show took place in the Volia Space Ukrainian House, located in the picturesque La Villette Park, gathering a large audience, including athletes, media representatives and other guests.

Director's story: "Long Day" as a symbol of resistance

During the press conference, Alan Badoev shared his thoughts on the importance of the tape. He noted that foreigners often approach him after the screening, expressing support, but some of them believe that the war in Ukraine has already ended. This is one of the reasons why it is important to constantly remind the world about the events in Ukraine.

"This country simply wants our country to be gone. But when it takes our country, if it can do it, it will not remain only within these borders. Then there will be other countries, " said Alan Badoev.

Strong words about the enemy

At the 2024 Summer Olympics, Badoev also emphasized the importance of not being afraid of the enemy. He noted that the enemy cannot be forgiven and must be frightened.

"Nothing can be forgiven this enemy. This enemy knows only one phrase: 'Fear, he must be scared.'

A film that unites 12 thousand Ukrainians

"Long Day" is a film about the life, survival and unity of Ukrainians, which begins with the story of Roman Zhuk and his family. 12, 000 Ukrainians who filmed Russian crimes on their phones participated in the creation of this film project. Thanks to their efforts, the world can see and remember the price that Ukraine pays.

Recognition in the international arena

The film has already been broadcast in 30 countries around the world, and won the Cinema for Victory national festival. The screening of "The Long Day" at the Olympics in Paris is another step towards spreading the truth about the events in Ukraine to the international arena.
