In a remarkable fusion of music and poetry, Ukrainian rapper Tur has unveiled a new track that breathes life into Dmytro Pavlychko's prophetic poem "Proroctvo, " written back in 1991. As history seems to echo through the verses, this collaboration seeks to bridge generations and carry the poem's timeless message to younger audiences.

The Resurgence of a Prophetic Vision

Tur's latest release is not just a song but a tribute, featuring a poignant music video immortalizing fallen Ukrainian artists who defended their homeland. The video showcases their portraits as murals, symbolizing eternal remembrance. This project underscores the enduring relevance of Pavlychko's words as they resonate with contemporary events.

"This poem is a prophecy. I want the younger generation to know it through music. It's a story that was, is, and will be, " expressed Tur.

Musical Alchemy: Bringing Poetry to Life

The track is a collaborative masterpiece, with Tur and Dmytro Pavlychko as the creative forces behind the lyrics. The arrangement and mastering were crafted by Oleg Fedosov, while Oleksandr Chemerov served as the music producer. This synergy of talents ensures the poem's message is delivered with emotional depth and musical finesse.

Cultural Landing: A Mission Beyond Music

The initiative ties into the larger "Cultural Landing" movement, a collective of creative professionals who bolster troops' morale through cultural tools. They perform for soldiers at the frontlines, in hospitals, and rehabilitation centers, striving to uplift and rejuvenate the Ukrainian fighters' spirits.

On the occasion of the Day of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, "Cultural Landing" also released another video titled "Pіd Bakhmutskym Doshem, " highlighting the courage and resilience of Ukrainian paratroopers.

A Legacy of Strength and Resilience

Moreover, the collective launched a video for the song "Do Pobachennya" by Myroslav Kuvaldin, which narrates the Ukrainian struggle for freedom and is part of the creative assembly’s ongoing initiatives. These efforts not only aim to entertain but also to inspire and unite through shared cultural heritage.
