Ramina Eshakzai struggles with bulimia

According to the last interview, Ramina said that she has been suffering from bulimia for six months. This disease was the result of constant stress during visits to the front-line territories.

"I had an emotional burnout, and on the background of this, an eating disorder became more active. For the past six months, I would eat any food, and then I would go to the bathroom and get rid of it. And I simply could not cope with anxiety, I could not wake up, I lay, I wanted to sleep and not wake up in this world, " she shared.

Doctors were forbidden to visit the frontline areas

Ramina admitted that due to emotional burnout and bulimia, it is difficult for her to work. She turned to a specialist, who prescribed antidepressants and strictly forbade her to work in hotspots.

"I already started coming to interviews and just crying, I couldn't even ask people questions. I decided that if the psychiatrist says that after all, bulimia should be treated with antidepressants, then I agreed, " she added.

Psychological support and treatment

Ramina does not hide her difficulties and hopes for the support of her followers. Her story is a reminder of the importance of psychological health and the need to take care of yourself, especially in difficult circumstances.

A year ago, Ramina lost a close friend at the front, which was another hard blow for her. However, she continues to fight the odds, trying to find new ways to heal and recover.
