Rybchinsky "punishes" Povaly: a new turn in the musical conflict
It seems that the music world never gets tired of unexpected turns. And this time Yevhen Rybchinsky decided to give new life to his hit song "Don't ask me why", which was once performed by Taisia Povaly. The updated song became a symbol of the confrontation with the ex-girlfriend because of her pro-Russian views.
Past that responds
Once a favorite of Ukrainian listeners, the song "Don't ask me why" became one of those that accompanied Povaliy at the top of his fame. But times have changed: the artist is now associated with Putin's support, and her name has become synonymous with treason. Rybchynskyi does not want his work to be associated with "slavish bowing to "Russian peace".
"Once my songs were sung by her throughout the country. However, the traitor has long since changed her repertoire, " Yevhen admits.
New sound - a new era
Teaming up with the soloist of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Khrystyna Okhitva, Rybchinsky gave his song a new, more rock sound. He believes that this is a kind of way to "punish" Povaly, returning his works to the Ukrainian musical space without associations with treason. This is not the first time when the poet updates his hits, adding modernity and relevance to them.
Music as a weapon
The story with Rybchinsky and Povaly has every chance to become a classic of conflicts in show business. It's not just about music, it's about the fight for truth and conviction. Will Eugene be able to finally separate his name from the betrayal? For now, he's boldly moving forward, using his songs as a means of cultural confrontation.
