Russian invaders are stealing Jamala's property in Crimea under the guise of "nationalization"

Fascinating and tragic story: Jamala, a famous Ukrainian singer and Eurovision winner, lost her property in Crimea due to the actions of the Russian occupiers. Under the guise of "nationalization", all her movable and immovable property, which had already been sold, was stolen.

What did Jamala lose?

It is known that the occupiers illegally took two plots of land, the parents' home in Alushta, and several other objects. In addition, the property of her family, where the singer spent her childhood, was also in the hands of the invaders. Chairman of the Parliament of the temporarily occupied Crimea, Volodymyr Konstyantinov, does not disclose details about other objects.

"This offense occurred due to Jamala's support of the Kyiv regime and sponsorship of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, " the propagandist said.

Unfair game: sale and search

All funds from the sale of Jamala's property are used to finance the war against Ukraine. The occupiers even declared the singer wanted and sentenced her to 10 years in prison in case of arrest. The reason is an alleged "criminal violation", and the exact reason is unknown.

Nationalization: Jamala was not the only victim

This pseudo-nationalization also included 110 Ukrainian individuals and legal entities, including former Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk. In general, more than 2, 600 objects of Ukrainian property were illegally appropriated, and their sale brought the Russians more than 771 million hryvnias.

Conclusions and consequences

The occupiers continue to use the funds received to support their military operations. The latest nationalization only confirmed their intention to enrich themselves at the expense of Ukrainians. This once again demonstrates that justice and legality in the actions of the occupiers cannot be expected.
