"Editorial" is a film that has already managed to get into the hearts of viewers thanks to its unique combination of comedy and drama. This time, the filmmakers surprised everyone by winning the "Best Feature Film" award at the 9th "Ukraina! Festiwal Filmowy" film festival in Warsaw.

A film that amazes the imagination

"Editorial" is not just a film, it is a whole world created by director Roman Bondarchuk, which takes viewers on an exciting journey through the reality of modern journalism. The story begins with Yura, a young museum worker, who accidentally witnesses the burning of a forest in the Kherson region. His journey from the museum to the editorial office of the local newspaper makes us wonder: is what we read always true?

"Modern journalism is not only facts, but also the human stories behind them, " said Roman Bondarchuk during the award ceremony.

Star cast and international success

The film is the result of cooperation between four countries: Ukraine, Germany, the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Such international cooperation adds a special charm and depth to the film, allowing to reveal the topic of forest fires in a new light. The world premiere of "Editorial" took place on February 16, 2024, causing great interest among viewers and critics.
