Sensational premiere: "Legions of Light" will reveal the secrets of foreign defenders of Ukraine

The documentary "Legions of Light", which will soon be seen by viewers of the ICTV2 channel, promises to be a real discovery of the year. This tape, which is part of the "Military Intelligence of Ukraine" cycle, will tell incredible stories about foreign volunteers who fight for the freedom of Ukraine with weapons in their hands.

Heroes from around the world

The film focuses on defenders from countries such as Great Britain, Norway, South Korea, Canada, the USA, Georgia, Poland, Germany and even Russia. These brave people, who have joined the International Legion of the Armed Forces of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, perform complex and dangerous combat operations together with the Ukrainian military.

What motivates the fighters against the aggressor?

What makes foreigners risk their lives and fight for a foreign country? Viewers will be able to find the answers to these questions in the new tape "Legions of Light". The film tells about the motivation and military exploits of the legionnaires who chose Ukraine as the place of their struggle against Russian tyranny.

Directing skills and state support

The film is the result of fruitful cooperation between director Anton Hoyda, producer and cinematographer Serhii Lukyants and other professionals. Work on the tape began in the fall of 2022 with the support of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine.

"Legions of Light" is a collective image of all foreign volunteers from more than 55 countries of the world, who legally as servicemen of the Ukrainian Armed Forces fight not only for our country, but also for the freedom of Europe and the whole world against Russian tyranny.

The importance of the film in modern conditions

Now, when mobilization is intensifying in Ukraine, and the participation of foreign military formations in the defense of our state is being discussed at the international level, the film "Legions of Light" is becoming especially relevant.
