Ukrainian singer Oleg Vynnyk shocks his fans with a sensational return to show business. After two and a half years of silence, he finally announces a new song "My people", which he plans to release on the eve of Ukraine's Independence Day.

A new image and a new era

Known for his signature style and long blond hair, Vinnyk decided to update his image. On the new poster, he poses with brown hair. This small but noticeable step can be considered a symbol of his new beginning.

Returns via Instagram

The official announcement about the release was made by Valeria Baron, the singer's assistant and head of the fan club. She published a photo of Vinnik on her Instagram page:

"Sensation! We've been waiting! On August 23, on all platforms, Oleg Vinnyk premieres the song 'My People'! Meet a gift for the Independence Day of Ukraine and for all of us from our maestro! Everything will be OV!"

Fan reaction and scandals

Immediately after the announcement, a wave of emotional reactions appeared in the comments. While many fans are happy for the singer's return, some of his former fans have expressed displeasure over his absence from Ukraine during the war.

"I hope he will be taken to the front."
"The 'V' symbol is banned in Ukraine. They prepared poorly."

Prospects for the future

Whether Vinnyk's new song will be played on Ukrainian radio stations is still an open question. The well-known producer Ihor Kondratyuk previously suggested that Vinnyk could regain favor by releasing several hits. The return of the singer can be an important moment in his career and a chance to restore his reputation.
