Solemn presentation of the "Golden Dzyga 2024"

This year's ceremony of awarding the national award "Golden Spindle 2024" in Kyiv became a real holiday for fans of Ukrainian cinema. The award ceremony took place within the framework of the Conference of the Ukrainian Film Academy, where topical issues of the development of domestic cinema were discussed. This time, the event returned to the offline format, which added a special solemnity to it.

Recognition of previous years

The ceremony began with the awarding of the laureates of 2022 and 2023, who were celebrated online due to the outbreak of full-scale war. Kateryna Gornostay with her film "Stop-Earth" and Dmytro Suholytky-Sobchuk with the film "Pamfir" became the winners of the previous years, receiving 11 awards out of 22 possible.

Triumphant winners of 2024

As for 2024, 20 days in Mariupol was recognized as the best feature film, which also won the award for the best documentary film. The series "Transporter" became the best game series, and "Chernobyl 22" won the title of the best short documentary film.

"It was an incredible year for Ukrainian cinema, and we can see it in the number of talented artists who won awards, " said one of the organizers.

Outstanding acting and technical achievements

Anastasia Karpenko won the award for the best leading female role in the film "How's Katya?", and Novruz Pashaev won the best leading actor for his work in "La Palisade". It is worth noting that the film "La Palisade" collected the most technical awards, including the best editing, sound, special effects and script.

Conclusions and perspectives

The "Golden Spindle 2024" ceremony was a vivid confirmation of the professionalism and talent of Ukrainian cinematographers. This event not only celebrated the outstanding achievements of the past year, but also inspired new creative achievements in the future.
