A new sensation appeared in the Ukrainian cinema - the horror film "The Witch of Konotop" directed by Andriy Kolesnyk. The tape, which was released on the big screens on August 22, attracted the attention of the audience and collected an incredible amount of almost 12 million hryvnias during the first weekend of distribution.
Success beyond expectations
In just four days of distribution, "The Witch of Konotop" collected 11, 960, 941 hryvnias, which is an impressive result for Andriy Kolesnyk's debut film. The number of sold tickets reached 72, 657, which indicates a great interest in the film among Ukrainians.
