Sensation from Marvel: Will Iron Man and Captain America return?

The head of Marvel Studios, Kevin Feige, threw up quite a sensation for fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Is it possible that we will see Iron Man and Captain America again on screens?

Return of favorite characters?

Kevin Feige does not rule out the possibility of the return of the characters of Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans, who died tragically in the previous films. With the MCU finding a way to bring back Hugh Jackman as Wolverine in the new Deadpool and Wolverine movie, the question has become even more pressing.

"How do we do that in a way that preserves what was before and in a great way? And we've spent the last two-and-a-half years figuring that out for Wolverine, " Feige shared.

History and context

The last film starring Robert Downey and Chris Evans was released in 2019, and Hugh Jackman's last appearance as Wolverine was in 2017. According to the plot, Jackman's character dies and the audience sees his grave. However, this did not stop Marvel from reviving the popular hero in a new film in 2024.

What awaits the fans?

Kevin Feige noted that the studio had been working for many years to complete the story of Iron Man, so no one is going to "undo" his death. However, given the possibility of Wolverine's return, the likelihood of seeing Iron Man and Captain America back on screens doesn't seem so fantastic.

Feige also hinted at the possibility of a crossover between the Marvel and DC film universes, which could open up new horizons for both studios.
