Serhii Zhadan becomes an honorary doctor of philosophy of the Ukrainian Free University

Ukrainian poet, musician and military serviceman Serhii Zhadan received the title of honorary doctor of philosophy from the Ukrainian Free University (UFU) in Munich. This is an important recognition for a well-known cultural figure who not only continues to create, but also actively defends the country.

"Received the title of Honorary Doctor of Philosophy of the Ukrainian Free University. I thanked him remotely. I am truly grateful to UVU — it is a great honor and responsibility. Thank you to everyone who supports national education, " Zhadan shared in his address.

Recognition from UVU

Historian and military officer Vakhtang Kipiani, congratulating Zhadan, emphasized that UVU is one of the most prominent educational and scientific centers in Europe. This title is yet another confirmation of the significance of Zhadan's contribution to the development of Ukrainian literature and culture.

Service in the National Guard

Serhiy Zhadan is currently serving in the 13th Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine "Charter". His versatility is impressive: he remains active in the creative field and performs important military duties at the same time.

Future projects and plans

Zhadan does not stop there. After receiving the honorary award, we should expect new creative projects and initiatives that will further emphasize his contribution to the development of Ukrainian culture. The recent concert of the group "Zhadan and Dogs" in Krakow confirms the invincible spirit of the artist.
