Serhii Zhadan and his band "Zhadan and Dogs" join the National Guard of Ukraine
The writer and musician Serhiy Zhadan took an unexpected step in his life, joining the ranks of the National Guard of Ukraine. He is currently undergoing training as part of the 13th brigade of the "Charter" NSU.
Wanted to serve the people
Serhiy Zhadan shared this news on his Facebook, noting:
"Joined the ranks of the 13th brigade of the "Chartiya" NSU. I am going through education. I am serving the Ukrainian people"
This step is of great importance not only for Zhadan himself, but also for his fans. Serhiy Zhadan has always been an active participant in public life and supported Ukrainian culture, but now he has decided to devote himself to the defense of the state as well.
An example for a band
No less important news was that not only Zhadan joined "Charter". Together with him, Yugen Turchynov, another member of the band "Zhadan and Dogs" joined the ranks of the National Guard. This shows a strong spirit of brotherhood and solidarity among the band members.
Historical context
In the modern history of Ukraine, such decisions are not frequent, but they always command respect. The addition of famous personalities to the ranks of the armed forces can inspire many others to take similar steps. It is known that during the war in the east of Ukraine, many famous personalities joined the defense of the country, and this gave them even greater weight and respect in society.
Consequences and prognosis
This step can significantly affect the further career of both musicians. On the one hand, their reputation will become even more unshakable, and on the other hand, their musical activity may be temporarily suspended. However, there is no doubt that their devotion to the country and people will only strengthen the love of fans and make their work even more valuable.
Considering these events, we can conclude that Ukrainian culture and the country's defense go hand in hand. And such examples as those of Zhadan and Turchynov inspire others to take active action, helping to create a better future for Ukraine.
