Shannen Dougherty fights for justice: child support amid serious illness

American actress Shannen Dougherty continues to fight not only for a difficult diagnosis, but also for financial justice. The Beverly Hills District star, who is currently in stage 4 cancer, has sued her ex-husband Kurt Isvarienko for spousal support.

Shannen Dougherty makes demands

In her statement to the Los Angeles court, the 53-year-old actress explains that she cannot work due to her health. Her current income consists mainly of receipts from the show "All Women - Witches", the rights to which expire on June 30. The actress is asking the court to award her spousal alimony in the amount of $15, 343 per month, retroactive to June 1, 2024. Shannen also demands that Isvarienko cover her legal fees of $9, 100. Currently, Dougherty's monthly income is about $21, 000, and her assets include $250, 000 in a bank account, $1.8 million in stocks and bonds, and about $3 million in other assets.

Despite his serious condition, Shannen continues to fight for his life and hopes that new methods of cancer treatment will be found in the coming years. She even announced the decision to get rid of a large part of her belongings to make life easier for her loved ones in the event of her death.
