At the end of August, the capital is planning to hold the "Take You" music festival, which has already caused a significant response in society. Activists express outrage at the headliners of the festival, which include Russian-speaking artists such as Kto Tam, Shtaket, Andrew Skat, Vasya Kimo and others.

Public outrage: why is the festival under threat?

Activists are calling for the cancellation of the festival, citing the inappropriateness of such events in the third year of a full-scale war. You can see a wave of negativity in the comments under the posts of the "Languages of Imprisonment" initiative and on the pages of the institution where the festival is planned.

"Perhaps it is enough to drag the Russian language and culture to Ukraine?" - say the activists.

Campus Community Reaction: What do the organizers say?

After the wave of criticism, the venue of the festival, Campus Community, made an official statement on social media. According to official information, the concert should be held in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and all proceeds will be donated to charity and assistance to the army.

"We were informed about the event in a different way. We do not cooperate with Russian performers and support Ukrainian projects, " the representatives of the institution noted.

Apologies and Promises: What's Next?

Campus Community apologized for the situation and promised to do everything possible to prevent this from happening again in the future. However, the institution did not specify whether the festival will be canceled. So far, it remains unknown whether this situation will affect the future fate of the "Take You" music festival.
