Ukrainian writer of children's literature Sashko Dermansky found himself at the center of a scandal after he responded to a rude message from a resident of Zaporozhye, Vova Ponomarenko. The latter expressed his dissatisfaction with the school program, which allegedly forces him to spend money on the development of his child.

Attack on the school program

Ponomarenko, who wrote in Russian, did not even say hello, but immediately got to the point with the statement: "Answer me to a question." His irritation was caused by the fact that he is forced to buy a book for his child.

"Why does my kid have to buy your crappy book to get ready for class? Huh?" - he was indignant.

Dermansky keeps his balance

Sashko Dermansky decided not to leave it unanswered. He politely explained that the purchase of his book is not mandatory, and offered to contact the library. However, he added one sarcastic touch at the end:

"Congratulations. Don't buy it under any circumstances. Let it grow up like you, ignorant and rude. Is that what you want, Muscovy?"

Reaction of social networks

Dermanskyi shared a screenshot of the correspondence on Facebook, which caused a wave of discussions. Commentators expressed their sympathy for Ponomarenko's child through a father with such views.

"Somehow you called him a 'muscovite' too mildly. There is another name for these slobs."
"It's actually a terrible situation. Pity that child with such a father."

Writer in educational programs

The works of Sashko Dermanskyi are included in the school curriculum for several classes of primary and secondary schools. From fairy tales to fantasy stories, his work helps children expand their horizons and gain life experience. However, as we can see, not all parents are ready to support this process.
