The scandalous appearance of Serdyuchka at the festival in Jurmala: a bow to Pugacheva and a standing ovation
Ukrainian showman Andriy Danylko, known as Verka Serdyuchka, created a real sensation at the Laima Vaikule festival in Jurmala. Despite calls to boycott the event due to the presence of Russian stars, Danylko decided to support Laima and perform on stage.
Bow to the Prima Donna
Danylko impressed the audience on stage by addressing the famous singer Alla Pugacheva, who was sitting in the hall. "God! Hello Borisovna, congratulations, " he said, bowing low. It was not just a formal gesture – Serdyuchka performed a few lines from Pugacheva's track "Ty vozmy menya s sovoi", expressing respect for her creativity and position. The video of this moment is already gaining popularity on TikTok.
"We live in difficult times. Of course, I couldn't help but come and support Lyma. Huge applause to Lyma for organizing, despite the hate and all the assholes."
Latvian performance
The Ukrainian and his team also surprised the hall by performing a song in Latvian, which caused thunderous applause. There was a real emotional chemistry between the artists and the audience, which confirmed the importance of cultural events in difficult times.
Refusal and support
