Russian blogger Maxim Winkler faced serious consequences after his wild performance at Maxim Galkin's concert in Latvia. The incident, which caused a great sensation, did not go unnoticed and quickly attracted the attention of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Latvia.

Decisive actions of Baiba Brazhe

The head of the country's Foreign Ministry, Baiba Brazhe, did not ignore the outrageous incident. She personally decided to put Maxim Winkler on the list of "undesirable persons" based on Article 61 of the Immigration Law, which prohibits him from entering Latvia.

"I have decided to include Max Winkler in the list of persons undesirable for the Republic of Latvia and impose an entry ban on him, " the politician wrote.

Scandal at Galkin's concert

The incident happened during a concert by Maksym Galkin, known for his pro-Ukrainian sentiment. Winkler, having paid 200 euros for a ticket in the front row, decided to use the moment to insult the comedian. He demonstratively laid out carnations two at a time, alluding to Soviet traditions, which in itself caused a protest.

Galkin did not stand aside and answered the troubled viewer:

"This is not your performance. When you will be a well-deserved person and hold a concert for several thousand people, only then will you be able to perform. Follow the Russian ship."

Consequences and reaction of society

The reaction of the Russian media was predictable - they covered Winkler almost as a hero. However, this scandal only added to his problems. Being on the list of "undesirable persons" in Latvia is a serious blow to the blogger's reputation, which can have far-reaching consequences.

A look into the future

This case highlights how seriously European countries take the support of aggressive regimes and provocations. Latvia has made it clear that it will not tolerate such incidents on its territory, and this could become an important precedent for other states.
