Ukrainian Celebrities Splurge on Makeup: How Much Do They Really Spend?
In the glamorous world of Ukrainian showbiz, it seems that the price of beauty can vary significantly. Galyna Lozynska, a renowned Ukrainian makeup artist, recently unveiled some intriguing insights on how much celebrities are willing to invest in their makeup looks.
The Price of Glamour: From Budget to Luxury
For many, the price of makeup might seem like just a small fraction of their beauty routine. However, in the showbiz industry, these costs can skyrocket. Lozynska reveals that the price for a celebrity makeup session can start as low as a few hundred hryvnias but can soar up to $400. Some celebrities, in their quest for perfection, are ready to spend even more, with prices exceeding $1000.
"The minimum could be 200 hryvnias. Unfortunately, our makeup artists are undercutting each other a lot. At the maximum, celebrities probably pay around $300-400 for makeup. Everyone values themselves differently, " Lozynska shares candidly.
Mastery Meets Money: The Influence of Self-Valuation
But what drives these prices? Lozynska points out that the artist's self-evaluation plays a significant role. She mentions that she, too, could charge $300 for her work as she has clients willing to pay that much. Yet, she humbly admits she hasn’t reached the level where she could confidently demand such a price consistently.
More Than Makeup: The Factors at Play
It's not just about the makeup itself but the circumstances surrounding it. As Lozynska elaborates, when a makeup artist has to travel to another city, clients often end up paying more. Some local stars don't hesitate to shell out $1500 for a single session.
Interestingly enough, Lozynska notes that expensive and budget-friendly makeup often look almost identical. While some artists might use luxury brands, which can drive up costs, the true differentiator remains the artist’s valuation of their craft.
In the ever-evolving beauty industry, the story of makeup pricing is a tale of artistry, self-worth, and the endless pursuit of glamour.
