As danger encroached with the bombing of an oil depot near Vasylkiv, Zibrov and his family sought refuge in Chernivtsi, later finding solace with friends in Spain. Despite the distance, Zibrov continued to contribute through charity concerts, while his son Oleksandr kept a watchful eye over their estate.
