The Hardkiss band is releasing the single "Mountain" that is more relevant than ever - a song about the last chance for humanity to survive. This track is a logical continuation of the collaboration of the group and the WWF Ukraine Foundation, within the framework of which the musicians support the initiative "Ukrainian rivers of Ukraine". Together with the track "Mountain" the group presents a video shot in a burnt forest near Kiev.
The video opens with a quote from a 13th-century Persian Sufi poet, Jalaladdin Rumi, that what was done will always return to us in return. “This story is about the planet and nature, about what an indelible and terrible mark we leave after ourselves, ” says front-girl of the group Yulia Sanina. “I wrote the first verse when there was a strong smog in Kiev. I thought what kind of world we would leave children? In light of recent events, the phrase from the song "born strong, but became vulnerable" took on a new meaning. Now we all got a chance, isolated, to understand ourselves. Now we have time to think and finally realize that we are not gods. "
The director Mitti Misyura tells about the filming of the clip: “We found the most realistic locations that emphasize the dystopian story, where the fire is raging out of control. - The burned forest near Kiev is the consequence, and the little boy is the hope”. Recall that now The Hardkiss is preparing for the big show "Ten", dedicated to the decade of the group. The concert will be held May 29, 2021 at the NSC Olimpiysky
