In Ukrainian cinemas, the distribution of the third "Deadpool" has started - a film that can return the Marvel Cinematic Universe to the saddle after a long crisis.

How did Deadpool appear?

Deadpool is a fairly "young" character by the standards of the American comics industry: he first appeared on the pages of the series *The New Mutants* in 1991. The genetically modified mercenary caused persistent associations with the character of the DC publishing house - Deathstroke. The fan community is still debating whether these cases can be considered plagiarism.

Long way to the big screen

The film itself could be released in the mid-zeros. However, already during development, it became clear that a legal conflict with the *20th Century Fox* studio may arise. Ryan Reynolds actively promoted the idea, he managed to convince to include Deadpool in 2009's X-Men Wolverine. However, the debut of the character on the big screens was not particularly successful.

Reanimation of the project

The following year, the script leaked onto the Internet and caused considerable enthusiasm. The team gave the go-ahead for the creation of test footage, which later got into the network. As the actor himself later said, the film studio was flooded with fan requests to shoot this film, and within 24 hours of the outpouring, they received the green light for filming.

Triumphant success

"Deadpool" was Tim Miller's feature directorial debut. Already in the first three days of release, the film earned $135 million. In total, the film collected $782 million, which was at the level of the best films of the main X-Men line. This success caused a new surge of interest in "adult" movie comics.
