Three parallel worlds: Theatrical magic at Khortytsia
The magic of the theater came alive again on the stage of Khortytsia, when the Actor's House opened the new season with the play "One Hundred Minutes for Two", which was based on the play "Constellations" by the British playwright Nick Payne.
Parallel worlds and cosmic atmosphere
Before the start of each performance, guests are immersed in the atmosphere of outer space thanks to abstract video and electronic music. This element added even more mystery and intrigue to the play. Although some noted that the music could have been a little quieter to better feel the depth of the dialogue.
Courage and creativity on stage
The performance keeps the audience in suspense for 100 minutes, showing three parallel worlds where repeated dialogues are amazing with their variability. Dance and drama merge into one harmony on stage, where six actors create an unforgettable performance. This is the first experience for the dancers who dared to speak on stage, and they certainly did a brilliant job.
Important support in difficult times
It is important to note that director Olena Pavlukhina and director Olga Donik focused on how the play can become a support for Ukrainians in 2024. "This is one of my favorite plays. It seems to me that there are words in it that can be of some comfort, " Olga Donik shared.
Future plans and new premieres
The theater season promises to be exciting. Already at the end of November, the premiere of "90s FM", dedicated to the epochal 90s in Ukraine, is expected. Olga Donik also announced the art festival "Actor's House. Immersion", scheduled for November 7-10, which promises to be a bright event of this season.
