It won't be easy, but I consciously choose this path because I want to go home to Crimea and Donetsk, I want Kharkiv to stand strong, I want Dnipro and Zaporizhzhia to endure, I want to rebuild Volnovakha and Mariupol, I want all our people in all cities to be safe. And for that, we need to fight, " Apchel stated.

For over four years, Apchel lived in Poland, where she actively supported Ukrainian military efforts by providing essential supplies from abroad. Six months ago, she returned to Ukraine, continuing her volunteer work before making the ultimate decision to enlist.
