The Ukrainian band "Budmo" surprised its fans with unexpected news - after the performance in Kalush on August 21, all four members of the band were mobilized into the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Charity tour that ended with mobilization

After the concert as part of the charity tour, members of the "Budmo" band received summonses and were sent to the military medical commission at the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Clinical Hospital. This unexpected turn of events forced the band to cancel their scheduled concerts on August 23 and 25.

Rostislav Koval: "We deliberately joined the ZSU"

The band's frontman, Rostyslav Koval, confirmed on his Facebook page that all members of the band are now soldiers of the 102nd Separate Territorial Defense Brigade. He shared a photo in a new role - in a military uniform.

"We promise that we will continue to delight you with new songs, and we hope that you will see us on stage in a new role, " Koval wrote.

Charity concerts and support of the Armed Forces

This band has held 279 charity concerts in support of the Armed Forces and believes in the victory of Ukraine. The Ivano-Frankivsk recruitment center noted that the mobilization of conscripts aged 18 to 60 in the region is a necessary measure to protect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine. This is especially important now, when intense fighting is going on on the front lines.

Views of the future

Will the band "Budmo" return to music after the war? Everyone believes in it. Their story is a reminder that even in the most difficult times, music and art can find their way through the chaos of war.
