The end of the school year in Ukraine was marked by heartfelt celebrations, despite the ongoing challenges faced by many students due to the conflict in the region. Schools, parents, and the Ukrainian Armed Forces made concerted efforts to ensure that graduates had memorable moments to cherish.

Heartwarming Graduation Ceremonies

Television host Marichka Padalko's younger daughter completed the ninth grade, attending the ceremony with a bouquet of fuchsia flowers. Actress Daria Tregubova's daughter, Polina, hosted the event at her school, donning a traditional embroidered dress.

"These children know things we didn't, and they've seen things they never should have, " an emotional Tregubova remarked. "There used to be fewer tears – during the flag ceremony, the moment of silence, the national anthem, and saying goodbye to graduates. We've all grown up over these two years."

Stars Join in the Celebrations

Actor Yuriy Tkach's daughter showcased her artistic talents by reciting a poem, while Victor Bronyuk's daughter, Eva, also completed nine grades this year. "There's a lot of exciting things ahead, " the singer encouraged his daughter. Meanwhile, Lilia Podkopayeva's son bid farewell to his school in the USA. Podkopayeva adopted Vadym in 2006 after meeting him in a Donetsk orphanage.

A Day to Remember for Families

Aliona Omargalieva spent the day with her young son, Timur, who finished the fourth grade. TV host Yulia Borysko shared a photo with her grown-up son, Mark, who graduated from school this year. Despite the hardships, these moments of joy and pride were shared widely on social media, bringing smiles to many faces.
