Ukrainian singer Vitaliy Kozlovskyi, currently serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, has baptized his newborn son, Oscar, in a touching ceremony held at the St. Michael's Golden-Domed Monastery in Kyiv. The singer and his wife, Yuliya Bakumenko, were seen wearing traditional white embroidered shirts.

A New Chapter in Kozlovskyi's Life

Kozlovskyi, who has often spoken about how fatherhood has changed his priorities, was visibly emotional during the ceremony. The couple has yet to reveal the names of the godparents, but a photo shared by Father Oleksandr Barychko on social media has given a glimpse into the intimate event.

"A new warrior of the Church of Christ. Finally got my Oscar, " wrote Father Barychko, holding the almost 3-month-old Oscar in his arms.

Kozlovskyi and Bakumenko tied the knot in a modest ceremony that took place the night after a massive Russian missile strike. The couple decided to marry when they learned about Bakumenko's pregnancy. Their son, Oscar, was born on February 25th this year, and Kozlovskyi has openly shared his joy and love for his firstborn.
