This year, the festival program promises to show the audience both Ukrainian and foreign cinema novelties. Among them, such tapes as "Imprisonment of Bordeaux" and "Forgiveness" stand out. Both films attract attention with their drama and rich emotional stories.
Film festival of festivals: the most anticipated premieres
The film festival offers a wide selection of films, among which it is worth noting "The Girl with a Needle", inspired by a real story, and "Maria's Silence", which tells about the tragic fate of the actress Maria Leiko. Director Davis Simanis managed to recreate the atmosphere of 1937 in Stalinist Russia, which adds a special depth to the film.

The competition program includes various genres and topics. For example, "Jupiter" by Benjamin Pfohl tells about a family that came under the influence of a cosmic cult. And "Sultana's Dream" by Isabel Ergera opens a feminist perspective on science fiction.
"The festival is taking place at a time when the world is going through great changes, and cinema is more relevant than ever for understanding these processes, " said one of the organizers of the festival.
National competitive program: Ukrainian perspective
This year, Ukrainian films are competing in the national competition program. Among them is Denys Tarasov's "Mad Men", which explores the topic of punitive psychiatry in the USSR. Director Ksenia Kravtsova presents the film "Glyadyelov", which tells about the path of the Ukrainian photographer Oleksandr Glyadyelov.
