Ukrainian stylist Olga Ivanisova, who lived in occupied Energodar with her two children, spoke about the terrible events that took place during the Russian occupation.

Occupiers on the streets: hunting women

Women in the city constantly felt threatened, because Russian soldiers literally "caught" them on the streets. They did not even try to hide their intentions, but simply ordered to get into the car, threatening them with automatic weapons.

"I didn't let Sofia go. I worked with girls, and an 18-year-old girl came to me and said: 'By the time I got to you, I almost got caught twice.' And she has long hair, a beautiful figure, a beautiful girl. And the occupiers just drive up, tell them to get in the car... I didn't let Sofiyka out at all, " Olga Ivanisova said.

"Pickup with a sign": a symbol of fear

According to Olga's daughter Sofia, the streets of Energodar were patrolled by cars with symbols of the occupation, which quickly became a symbol of the abduction of young girls. Sofia remembered how such a car drove up to her once, but she managed to avoid being abducted.

"There were a lot of cars with "Zetka" in the city. I remember how I couldn't even leave the house. It was possible for an hour a day. But I didn't want to. There is no government in the city, so everyone can do anything, and it's not punishable. I know that many Russian soldiers approached me, too. And that was the scariest thing, " Sofia shares her memories.

Escape from the occupation: a new life

In the end, Olga managed to leave the occupied city with her daughter and son. However, the father remained in Energodar, supporting the occupiers and urging his family to stay. This decision became a difficult challenge for the family, forcing them to rethink their future in new conditions.

The terrible events of the occupation left their mark on the lives of Olga and her children. But their story is also an example of strength and endurance in the face of incredible difficulties.
