From fencing to show ballet: How Amador Lopez found his calling

Amador Lopez, born in Venezuela, was fond of choreography since childhood. There was also fencing in his life, but it was dancing that became his real passion. In 2006, he founded the show-ballet Rumbero's, which quickly gained popularity both in Ukraine and in Russia.

The Ukrainian way: Obtaining citizenship and language adaptation

In February 2022, Lopez received Ukrainian citizenship, fulfilling his long-standing dream. He enthusiastically started learning the language, overcame the language barrier and passed the exam for knowledge of the state language.

"Finally, my dream came true - now I am a citizen of Ukraine not only in my heart, but also on paper. I received a passport and I am very happy about this!"

Tested by the pandemic: Financial difficulties

Despite his success on stage, Amador faced financial problems. Having taken out numerous loans during the COVID-19 pandemic, he found himself in dire straits, living on 3, 000 hryvnias a month.

Personal life and creative ambition

Love for choreography brought Lopez to Svitlana Shpileva, but their marriage lasted only 8 years. The creative ambitions of both became the reason for the divorce, which Amador regrets, especially because of the lack of children together.

Military actions and charity

During the full-scale invasion, Lopez and his mother were under occupation near Makarov, but they later managed to evacuate to the west of the country. Amador actively supports the Armed Forces of Ukraine and conducts master classes for children of immigrants.

Ambassador of childhood: Charity festival and passionate performances

Recently, Lopez performed at the large-scale charity festival "Ambassador of Childhood", giving joy to children and communicating with the little ones. His performances leave unforgettable emotions and charge with positivity.
