The recent overnight attack on Kyiv by Russian forces marked a haunting chapter in the ongoing conflict, as the Swatoshynskyi district bore the brunt of the devastation. This brutal event, which claimed the lives of eight people and injured over 70, including children, prompted a wave of emotional responses from Ukrainian celebrities.

Celebrities Share Their Ordeal

Social media was flooded with posts from stars who described their harrowing experiences. Masha Efrosinina, a beloved TV host, shared her terrifying dash to the metro with her son, highlighting the pervasive sense of fear.

"It was a terrifying night. We’ve never run to the subway so fast, " Efrosinina confessed.

Similarly, Dasha Kvitkova emphasized the sheer volume and terror of the night, urging her followers to stay safe.

"It was incredibly loud and scary. We are in the shelter. Take care of yourself and each other, " Kvitkova advised.

Parental Fear and Resilience

Parents and caregivers, including Liza Glinska, shared the emotional toll on children. Her narrative painted a vivid picture of a family trying to cope under siege.

"Solomiya is very reactive... My children, especially Mia, are scared of loud sounds, " Glinska recalled, underscoring the physical and emotional vibrations of the explosions.

Anger Towards Peace Talks

The timing of the attack, coinciding with news of U.S.-Russia negotiations, sparked outrage among celebrities. Andriy Bedniakov, who spent the night in a parking garage, called out western diplomats' perceived naivety.

"I really want to see those diplomats here in my parking lot who say that Putin can be trusted, " Bedniakov vented, pointing to the disconnect between diplomatic talks and the harsh reality on the ground.

A Call for Justice

As the city awoke to another day of uncertainty, the pain and anger were palpable. Stars like Anatoliy Anatolich did not mince words, criticizing Russia’s intentions and highlighting the deceptive nature of supposed ceasefires.

"You do realize that this wasn’t an Easter truce; they were just accumulating more means for destruction, " Anatolich remarked.

This tragic event has once again underscored the resilience of the Ukrainian people and the power of their voices in the face of adversity.
