Charitable Auction Sensation: A Role on 'Coffee with Cardamom' Takes the Spotlight
The city of Khmelnytskyi recently played host to an extraordinary event that combined the glitter of television with the noble cause of charity. The second annual charity auction, initiated by Sergiy Gamaliy, advisor to the head of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), brought together an eclectic mix of creativity and philanthropy.
A Star-Studded Contribution
The creative team from the popular TV series "Coffee with Cardamom, " broadcasted on STB, made a high-profile entrance by offering an exclusive auction lot. Lead actress Olena Lavreniuk, along with her team, proposed a unique opportunity: a role in the upcoming season of the series, "Coffee with Cardamom. Power of the Earth." The winner would find themselves whisked away into a world of drama, appearing in a ballroom scene donned in resplendent attire.
The Auction's Dramatic Moment
In a scene reminiscent of a TV drama itself, the bidding for this coveted role reached a staggering $16, 000. The winner not only secured a place in the limelight but also contributed to a cause of immense importance. "As we near the final stages of filming our second season, it's crucial for our team to support our defenders, " Lavreniuk expressed.
"I am thrilled that our lot was valued so highly, " she added with palpable enthusiasm.
A Cause Close to the Heart
This year's auction was dedicated to supporting the Defend Khmelnytsky Foundation, with proceeds earmarked for the purchase of Ukrainian-made "Sich" drones for the SBU's special unit "Alpha." Lavreniuk, known for her role as an ambassador for the national "Friends of the Air Assault Forces" project, underscores how the art community stands shoulder-to-shoulder with the nation's military efforts.
A Fusion of Glamour and Generosity
The Khmelnytskyi charity auction has once again illustrated the powerful alliance between creativity and altruism, shining a spotlight on how art and generosity can come together to support Ukraine's defenders during these pivotal times.
