Star conflict: Oleksiy Bogdanovich refuses to work in the Russian Federation
Ukrainian theater and film actor Oleksiy Bogdanovych, known for his roles in the TV series "Stolen Happiness" and "Crime with Many Unknowns", found himself in the spotlight after a candid interview where he spoke about his relationship with Russian colleagues and his refusal to work in Russia.
Storm between colleagues: dissatisfaction and clashes
Bohdanovich recalled the moment when, on the set of the film near Kyiv, his conflict with the Russian actor Volodymyr Steklov almost turned into a fight. The delay in filming caused the indignation of Steklov, who resorted to insulting statements about Ukrainians. "You, katsapura, earn money here, - Bohdanovych shouted, - and you still open your mouth to Ukrainians?". The situation was so tense that the conflict almost ended in a physical confrontation.
Rejection of the "capital of the world": the actor's principled position
Despite numerous offers to stay for a permanent job in Moscow, Bohdanovich categorically refused. The actor emphasizes that since the beginning of the annexation of Crimea, he has never visited Russia, because he considers it unacceptable. "To the aggressor? No, thank you, " he noted. Bohdanovich does not hide his negative attitude towards Russian politics, which became the basis for his decisions and principles.
Broken Relationships: From Friendship to Disappointment
After the start of the full-scale war in Ukraine, Bohdanovych reconsidered his relationship with some of his Russian colleagues. "It would be strange if I were talking to them now, " says the actor, talking about his disappointment in former friends such as Dmytro Pevtsov and Oleksandr Domogarov. The actor admits that in their younger years their conversations were far from politics, but now he cannot close his eyes to the changes in their beliefs.
Oleksiy Bogdanovich's decision is an example of how principles and patriotism can prevail in personal relationships and professional career. His story demonstrates that star status cannot stand above the values that form a true personality.
