Ten-year-old Zlata Ivaniv from Odesa impressed the jury of the National Junior Eurovision selection, receiving the highest score for her performance. However, the victory still went to twelve-year-old Artem Kotenko from Sumy Oblast. The reason for this decision was the audience's votes.

According to the voting results, Zlata Ivaniv and Artem Kotenko scored the same number of points - 11 each. However, the audience preferred Artem, giving him 6 points, while Zlata received only 5. This became the deciding factor.
