Changes in Ukrainian show business: Tonya Matvienko reveals her thoughts
Ukrainian artist Tonya Matvienko shared her opinion about transformations in the world of Ukrainian show business over the past two years. The war made its adjustments, but, in Matvienko's opinion, they turned out to be for the better.
"It has changed for the better. Undoubtedly. We used to be separated, the first echelon, the second. But now there is no such thing. I like it very much."
the singer commented. She singled out a few young artists who, in her opinion, deserve attention: KADNAY, Phil It, Latexfauna and Ziferblat. These are bright representatives of the new generation, demonstrating a fresh sound and approach to music.
New stars and old critics
However, not all young talents excite Matvienko. For example, Klavdia Petrivna, whom the performer calls talented, but admits that she did not like her work. "I can't listen to her for a long time. I get tired, " Matvienko admits. This highlights how subjective preferences can be even in a professional environment.
Changes in your own life
In addition, Matvienko spoke about her own changes. She left her position as a vocal teacher at the Kyiv University of Culture and Arts in order to fully focus on creativity. Balance between career and teaching was a difficult task for her, as teaching limited her opportunities to perform at charity concerts and tour abroad.
"I don't teach anymore. I'm tired. I worked for one year. I realized that I can't keep up with everything."
said Matvienko, noting that now she wants to focus on her own career.
Matvienko's conclusions emphasize the importance of self-realization and finding a balance between personal and professional ambitions. This highlights how difficult it can be to combine different aspects of life, especially in a changing cultural and social environment.
